What makes a usable video?

  • Film vertically on your phone.
  • Aim for approximately 20–60 seconds.
  • Make sure the recipient and gift can be seen clearly.
  • Film somewhere bright and keep background noise low.
  • Send the original video without music, filters, captions or watermarks.
  • Capture a genuine reaction—positive, surprised, amused or otherwise.
Helpful tip: Start recording before you hand over the gift so you don’t miss the best part.

Video submission terms

By submitting a video, you confirm that you have read and agree to the following:

  1. You must be at least 18 years old and provide a valid order number for a purchase from LastMinuteGiftIdeas.com.au.
  2. Submitting a video does not guarantee acceptance or payment. The $50 payment is made only if Last Minute Gift Ideas selects and uses your video for promotional purposes.
  3. We may decline a video because of its picture or sound quality, content, format, missing consent, failure to follow these requirements or because it is otherwise unsuitable for our promotional needs.
  4. You confirm that you recorded the video or own all rights needed to submit it. The video must not contain added copyrighted music, television footage or other material you do not have permission to use.
  5. You confirm that every identifiable person appearing in the video has agreed to its submission and promotional use. If anyone appearing is under 18, you must have permission from their parent or legal guardian before submitting it.
  6. If we accept and pay for the video, you grant Last Minute Gift Ideas and Web Works permission to edit, crop, caption, reproduce and use the video and its audio on their websites, social-media accounts and digital advertising. We will not sell the video to another business.
  7. Reactions and comments must be genuine. Payment is not conditional upon the recipient giving a positive review or saying anything particular about the product.
  8. Only one payment is available per accepted video. We will contact the submitter using the supplied details to arrange payment before or when the video is first used.
  9. You may ask us to stop using the video in future promotions by contacting orders@lastminutegiftideas.com.au. This will not require the removal of material already printed, published or distributed before the request was received.
